An early/mid 20th century carved wooden tiki, carved in high relief with suspension hole to the top, length 13.5 cm. Provenance: From outside a whare at Te Kopi sheep station (Wairarapa), c.1900-1910, owned by Sir Walter Clarke Buchanan, (1838-1924) MHR for Wairarapa. From Bill Page, station manager and Boer War veteran (died 1926)
