A collection of etchings by David Deuchar, C. 1803. The top left etching is after Rembrandt's 'Beggar seated on a Bank' (1630). The large central work is after Cornelius Bega's 'The mother seated in an Inn' (Mid-17th century). The top right work, as attributed by the National Gallery of Scotland, is after Adriaen van Ostade, 'A Man's Head'. To either side, the profile portrait, and tavern scene look to be original designs by Deuchar. In the lower half of the frame is a set of six etchings modeled after Renaissance artist ans Holbein the Younger's 'Dance of Death' series. 58 cm x 44 cm
