A large vintage Chinese carved ivory bust of the goddess Kuanyin, her serene face surmounted by a carved and pierced diadem decorated with a deity flanked by foliage, a 'bindi' in lapis lazuli to her forehead. Raised upon a carved wood stand. Overall height 20.5 cm, 1.46kgs. Provenance: Purchased from Cordy's August 1977 where it was a featured item.
