A bespoke Verdura designed constellation bangle this rare 18ct yellow gold hinged bangle made in New York circa 1945 to 1960s was conceived by Fulcodi Verdura and made for Miinnie Astor. Verdura is most famous for his collaboration with Coco Channel, particularly her signature set of Maltese cross, gem set cuff bangles and Cole Porter's night and day cufflinks set. The bangle is divided into seven sections each set with 26 diamonds and each section's pattern is opposite to the next section. The diamonds are a combination of old European cut and early modern brilliant cut diamonds. Total number of diamonds is 182. Bangle width is 34.3 mm, weight is 119.4 grams. With box.
