A pair of Chinese famille rose Cafe Au lait ground dishes, late Qing Dynasty, 19th/20th century, the dishes decorated in famille rose enamels with animals including crickets, dragonflies and frogs resting on flowers such as lotus, peony, sweet pea and roses, all against a cafe au lait ground, with bats in green enamel to the base. The centre of the base with a spurious six character mark in iron red for Daoguang, 3.5 cm high, 19.5 cm diameter
