An ashtray and plate by Jean Marais (1918-1998), ashtray C. 1970, signed, in an iridescent black glaze, depth 16 cm. Sagittarius plate from the Zodiac series, depth 2.5 cm. Marais, well-known film actor and sculptor, and was the muse of Jean Cocteau, starring in Cocteau's movie 'La Belle et la Bete'. Together with another cut glass ashtray.
