Adamson., Melbourne From The South Side Of The Yarra Yarra, 1839, lithograph, with later hand colouring and printed in 1881, artist's and engraver's names with text and legend, title and date below image, 36 x 39 cm, Text reads 'Eng'd by J. Carmichael for R. Clint.' The illustrated key below the painting allows identification of landmarks including 'St. James Cathedral. Scaffolding for stone work commenced', 'Batman's House', 'Mrs Umphelby Hotel', 'G. Lilly Drapery Store', etc..
