A Vintage Charles and Ray Eames 670 and 671 Lounger and ottoman by Vitra rosewood seat shells with leather covered cushions, cast aluminium base. 1961. Based on a prototype exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art's 'Organic Design in Home Furnishings' competition in 1940, the 670 was the Eameses' most constructionally complex chair and their first design for the luxury end of the market. This model originally purchased in 1961by a Swiss architect.
