A part Victorian sterling silver King's pattern cutlery service, William Eaton, London, 1839, (24), includes six of each dinner forks, entree forks, spoons, knives with engraved crest to handle, the knives have a stainless steel blade which was added at alter date. Provenance: Owned by Thomas Barker (1799-1875), engineer, manufacturer, grazier & philanthropist, he arrived in Sydney on the Earl Spencer in October 1813 & thence by descent, Wt 1400 grams (not including knives)
