Andrew Van der Putten, a flagon displaying dark khaki and black mottled glaze effects on tenmoku ground, short strap handle, rolled rim, impressed potter's mark to handle base, height 35 cm. Provenance: Made by Van der Putten for his father-in-law John Crichton, it sat on Crichton's deck until his passing and then back to the potter's collection.
