A rare Minton Pate sur pate Pilgrim shape vase olive ground with crimson ground in reserve panel, depicting two cupids playing framed in an oval floral cartouche. Reverse: spray of oak leaves and acorns with a saddle bag and an arrow passing through the scene. Unusual gilt and silver mounts to foot, handles and neck. Attributed to Alboine Birks, shape and date code, gilt minton's globe and Crown mark, circa 1885, height 26 cm
