William Ricketts (1899 - 1993) Victoria circa 1955 An earthenware wall plaque modelled as the face of an Indigenous Australian spirit child emerging from a swirling background 35 cm high. Provenance: the plaque was bequeathed to the current owner from the estate of the late John Hetherington. John Hetherington (1907 - 1974) was a prominent journalist war correspondent columnist and author in Melbourne.
