Fine Meissen armorial porcelain plate circa 1880, of Gotzkowsky pattern painted with deutsche blumen in the centre and the imperial Russian double eagle and also the badge of the order of St. Andrew marked SAPR (Sanctus Andreas Patronus Russiae) with florally moulded borders and gilt line edge underglazed blue crossed swords 24.5 cm diameter. This plate is a late Meissen copy based on the service apparently given to Empress Elizabeth I of Russia (1707-1762) by Augustus III in 1744
