An African Ivory Coast presentation dish, the circular adze hewn dish with a central oval compartment covered by a deep lid surmounted by carved faces and in low relief with a torso and limbs, a small integral pedestal stands raised from the dish floor, diameter 48 cm. Provenance: Private Collection of a Senior UNICEF Photographer in Africa c.1970 and her partner a diplomat with the British High Commission
