An 18th century Philip Christian (Liverpool) porcelain cream boat, with a moulded body and polychrome painted chinoiserie decoration of Chinese figures and floral spray to the interior and exterior, c.1765-78. Crack behind handle and chip on foot rim. Philip Christian became the leading potter at Liverpool after Mr Chaffer's death.
