An Austro-Hungarian 800 silver and silver gilt centrepiece, Vienna, late 19th/early 20th century, the central tapering standard rising to a finial in the form of a standing semi-draped maiden clutching a bird in her left hand, her right arm outstretched, flanked by two shell moulded bowls, above a quatrefoil platform base, raised on pierced scroll feet, hallmarked 'Bf' and assay mark for 800 silver and Vienna, 876 gms total weight of silver, 37 cm wide, 39 cm high, 23 cm deep
