A blue and white moon flask Qing dynasty, late 19th century, supported on a splayed foot, painted on either side with a lakeside scene of figures on the shore and distant mountains, a long inscription to one side, the narrow sides set with two lug handles and painted with fruiting and flowering sprays and butterflies, the base inscribed with a six-character mark of Jiaqing, wood box, 24 cm high
