An archaistic celadon jade vase and cover Qing dynasty, 19th century, of rounded rectangular section and hu form, the sides supported on a splayed foot with raised borders, the slightly waisted neck set with two tubular handles and carved in relief with a broad band of taotie, repeated around the domed cover below the flared knop, the stone of pale greenish tone with russet suffusions and scattered brown markings, 26 cm high
