A simulated bamboo hardwood cabinet, early 20th century, of rectangular form, the open upper section enclosed on three sides with a frieze of scrolling foliage, above a pair of reversable doors, each carved on one side in high relief with a pair of Buddhist lions playing with a brocade ball, the reverse inset with vertical bamboo canes, the doors opening to reveal a single original shelf and two replaced shelves, the base with three drawers similarly reversable carved on one side with a ribboned bow in relief and the reverse with bamboo strips, 157 cm high, 105 cm wide, 38.5 cm deep
