A finely carved pair of emu eggs set in huon pine mounts, circa 1900-1920, huon pine stands of later make, beautifully relief carved to oval reserves, one depicting Australia fauna, including koala, possum, quoll, sugar glider and flying fox, the other, depicting an aboriginal male throwing a boomerang, with emu and kangaroo, (later professionally restored), height 21.5 cm
