Victorian sterling silver kettle on stand, mark of Atkin Brothers, Sheffield, 1880, the kettle of baluster form with scroll handle, the cover surmounted by a fruit finial, the body with engraved monogram, chased and repousse decoration of a dense tropical forest, the stand with foliage scroll and mask apron, raised on four, out-swept feet, with central lamp, hallmarked, weight 2801 height 48.5 cm, (on stand).
