Victorian mahogany and marquetry presentation pedestal, c. 1880, the square hinged top enclosing a lined compartment, front with sterling silver shield plaque, inscribed 'Her Royal Highness Princess Christian, Princess of Great Britain & Ireland, first President of the Royal British nurses Association, 1887', height 115 cm.
