A George III mahogany and leather library arm chair, circa 1770, of typical 'Gainsborough' form, the square back and padded arm-rests with downswept supports above the generous seat, on square-section supports united by peripheral and cross stretchers, upholstered in green leather, 97 cm high, 72 cm wide, 79 cm deep.
