An Irish provincial sterling silver tankard, George Moore / Limerick / circa 1770, of typical squat baluster form on a moulded spreading foot, the scrolling handle with a thumb-rest, bead edges to the rim and foot, engraved to the front with an unidentified crest within a wreath, the underside hallmarked Gm, and engraved script initials Bsp.
