Half leather, the early boards rebacked, the first volume with engraved frontispiece portrait of Johnson, together with a Folio Society edition of Boswell's life of Johnson, and volumes of Boswell's Journal. Other Notes: the sixth edition of Johnson's Dictionary, published the year after his death, was the last edition to incorporate his own revisions and additions to his earlier work.
