Exquisite late 19th century French marble top and ormolu occasional table, by Francois Linke (1855 - 1946), with a circular rouge and pink marble top, surrounded by a fine ormolu border above a lower drawer accented with frieze of ormolu garlands, raised on four slender cabriole legs united by a x-stretcher with plum finial, with floral ormolu motifs, terminating to ormolu feet, signed F.Linke, 65 x 46 cm Note: Francois Linke (1855 - 1946) was the most important Parisian cabinet maker of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, and possibly the most sought after cabinet maker of his period.
