An impressive Victorian silver oak boxed four-piece tea and coffee service, elaborate finely embossed floral sprays and engraved trellis panels, acanthus leaf detailed thumb pieces, applied floral sprig finials, gilt washed interiors to the sugar and cream. London 1859 by John Samuel Hunt, the bases engraved 'Hunt & Roskell, Late Storr & Mortimer'. 2kg. The oak box with brass swing handles and blue baize lined fittings. Note: Storr & Mortimer was founded in 1822 when the noted English silversmith Paul Storr realised he required a centralised retail London location.
