A large heavy and impressive Victorian presentation silver jug and two beakers, the jug with bulbous spherical body and hand-beaten finish, the hinged lid with double pomegranate thumbpiece, presentation engraved 'This Jug Together with Two Beakers are a Farewell Gift to the Revd. Arthur Rawson from Former and Present Members of his Congregation. 26 July 1882'. The beakers with decorative engraved bands and hand-beaten finish, the oval cartouche with castle and other engraved detail. The jug London 1881 by George Fox. 1665gm, height 29 cm. The beakers London 1882 by George Lambert. 336gmand 327gm, height 15.8 cm. Note: two contemporary photographs and the Will outlining the bequest of this lot is included.
