Roll of Honour. Amateur Sports Club of Victoria. A specially commissioned volume in red leather with black title, club crest and date 1920 on cover. Intended to be in a glazed display case with a page being turned daily (as many institutions did at the time). Title page by Harold Herbert (official war artist) in Art Nouveau style. Each of the 122 club members who served in World War I has a page devoted to them with their name and details of their service being set out. An index follows: Together with i) manuscript notes of the members who served ii) typed notes of the members who served and their services details iii) the printed questionnaires sent to those members inviting them to submit details of their services, together with their replies, iv) receipt of W.L. Mitchell showing that he was the writer of the individual entries, I believe he was a specialist illuminator, etc in Melbourne
