A fine and old (Qing Dynasty) silver gilt cup, cast with a chimera to the interior base, the exterior with fine beaded ground overlaid with sinuous leafing scrolls and further mythical beasts, the ring handle with top plate conforming to the body with a bird amongst clouds. Heavily gilded, diameter 6.9 cm.
