A cizhou-type white glazed 'lotus' bowl, Shanxi Province, Jin dynasty, 16.9 cm diam. Provenance: Mossgreen, Melbourne, 14 to 15 June 2011, lot 378. The circular unglazed section at the centre for kiln staking is a feature characteristic of many Shanxi kilns.
