An interesting Western Australian carved cabinet c.1900 - 1920's, artist unknown, the cabinet carved with two swans on the pediment, the door having gumleaves, map of Australia with Australian coat of arms and Advance Australia, height 74 cm, width 37 cm. Provenance: Purportedly Forest family W.A. Purchased 25 years ago, the current owner purports provenance at the time believed to be from the Forest family (Sir John and lady Margaret Forest), the previous owner was a former maid to the Forest family, the cabinet gifted to her for services to the family as a leaving gift
