Batty & Sons, Paris, to dial, a Renaissance basilica inspired clock with dome surmounted by three rearing, horses and a chariot in cast bronze, the body with bas relief Roman scenes, and flanked by four column onion domed porticos, Roman numerals and delicate, pierced work to the dial, striking on a gong, with key and pendulum, height 45 cm, width 40 cm, depth 22 cm
