A fine Empire style annular bronze clock with Serpents, early 19th century, engraved 'Bouchet h'er du Roy, Paris, a gilt bronze urn with cover and a bursting fruit finial, entwined with two, serpents, their tongues marking time on the annular sections set with enamel, number cartouches, angular high set handles with a laurel leaf festoon and pendants above a fabric draped fluted pillar, upon a square base and stand, height 64.5 cm, width 28 cm, depth 28 cm
