A large Sino-Tibetan Bodhisattva, bronze alloy with Remnants of gilt, the head crowned with a five segment diadem, 18th/19th century the hair secured with a high topknot, the curvaceous body seated upright and adorned with beads, a celestial scarf floating over the shoulders and arms, with lotus stems rising above the shoulders, the dhoti falling around the ankles with the bare feet facing upward, the copper base incised with auspicious Buddhist symbol.
