A fine green enameled dragon dish, with shallow rounded sides, the interior with a central five claw dragon, an underglaze blue Chenghua mark the exterior with two fived-clawed dragons striding through the clouds. Note: this dragon design first appeared in the Chenghua period, 1465-87, a classic favourite desired by both the Qing and Ming Imperial Courts. Diameter 21 cm
