A Japanese Satsuma vase Meiji, circa 1890, a slender ovoid vase with scenes of a Heian period spring gathering amongst blossoms, cobalt blue band on the side with tortoise shell decoration, wisteria and family 'kamon' symbol. Kinkozan workshop impressed mark and trace of gilt Kinkozan signature on the underside. Height 19 cm
