A large famille-rose 'peony' dish, late 19th/early 20th century, of deep saucer shape, boldly enamelled in bright colours with leafy branches of flowering peony extending over the interior, bearing large blooms in tones of pink, white and iron-red, the leaves rendered in two tones of green, and with a pair of butterflies hovering above, the underside with five iron-red bats, the base with an apocryphal six character Qianlong seal mark in underglaze blue, wood stand, (2), 53.7 cm diameter.
