A rare World War I life Raft 'The Carley Float' complete with storage and handles, the raft was formed from a length of copper or steel tubing 30/60 cm dia. Bent into oval ring the ring was then surrounded by a bouyant mass of Kapok or cork and following covered with a layer of canvas rendered waterproof via painting or doping & includes custom made steel stands 180 x 123
