An early 18th century English figured walnut longcase clock, by Edward Faulkner, London, the arched dial with silvered chapter ring, gilded spandrels, calendar aperture, strike silent dial and subsidiary dial, the eight-day movement striking on a bell, the hood with column mouldings and flat top, the case with arched panelled door. Edward Faulkner was apprenticed in 1692, Freeman of the Clockmaker's Company 1702 and Master at the Clockmaker's Company 1734-1744. Height 220 cm
