A Chinese ivory figure 'The Honest Fisherman', a man standing wearing a wide brimmed hat and holding a fishing pole and two fish. With accompanying letter of authenticity from The Chingwah Lee Studio of Orientalia, dated 1971 attributing the work to the Ningbo region and Jiaqing period (1796-1820). Lee was reported as being one of San Francisco's leading art appraisers and owner of one of the finest art studios in the Western world. Provenance: Private Collection Auckland.
