A Chinese ivory figure 'The Flower Expert', a man standing wearing a wide brimmed hat and holding a spider chrysanthemum bloom. With accompanying letter of authenticity from The Chingwah Lee Studio of Orientalia, dated 1971 attributing the work to Shanghai style and Daoguang period (1821-1850). Chingwah Lee was reported as being one of San Francisco's leading art appraisers and owner of one of the finest art studios in the Western world. Provenance: Private Collection Auckland.
