British 1796 pattern naval broad sword, with ivory grip, with a bowed knuckle guard with traces of gilding, having GR cipher, the spine engraved JJ Runkel Solingen, no scabbard,. Condition: good, some tarnish to blade and small chip to handle, some knicks to blade edge. Length of blade 83 cm.
