A south Indian tribal bronze figure of a man 16th century or earlier, the male figure standing facing front-on, with a top-knot of hair, pierced ears, wearing a dhoti, and holding both hands aloft bent at the elbows, the hands with holes indicating that the figure once held something, with a pleasant verdigris patina. On a fitted black wooden base, the figure 26 cm high, 8.5 cm wide.
