A large Indian silver jug Shamji Mukonji, Cutch, circa 1880, decorated with dense scrolling foliage and flowers, the sides engraved with Persian style hunting scenes. Flanked by a well cast entwined snake form handle. Hallmarked S.M on rim of foot, for the master Cutch silversmith Shamji Mukonji. Approximately 1145 gms silver, 34 cm high.
