A Tibetan Phurba together with two Nepalese drum handles 18th/19th century, the black wooden phurba (kila) with a three-faced finial and entwined serpents on the blade's three surfaces. Together with two carved Tamang shaman's phurba-form drum handles, the Tibetan phurba 26 cm long, the larger drum handle 43 cm long and the smaller 33.4 cm long. Provenance: The two drum handles purchased in Kathmandu in 1973, the phurba purchased in Kathmandu in 1979.
