A Chinese gilt bronze figure of Manjushri Ming Dynasty, 15th/16th century, the finely detailed bronze figure seated in padmasana on a double lotus base, wearing a five-pointed Crown and beaded jewellery to the torso, covered in gilt lacquer, 32 cm high, 19 cm wide. Provenance: Purchased by the current owner in Kyoto, Japan in the late 1970s/early 1980s.
