A French ormolu and marble mantel clock, Jean-Francois and Guillaume Deniere, Paris, late 19th century, the ormolu decorated brass and glass case featuring a lovely garland motif to face, all raised on a stepped oblong marble and ormolu plinth base (not pictured). Encasing a white porcelain dial with Arabic numerals, and finely painted with garlands and floral motifs. The dial signed Deniere/Ft De Bronzes/A Paris. Regulator movement with sunburst pendulum. The backplate stamped Deniere/ a Paris, 48.5 cm high (including base), 34.5 cm wide and 21 cm deep
