An antique lacquerware brush pot Qing Dynasty, Qianlong period 1736-1795 mark well decorated in colours and lightly engraved to two reserves with a cockerel and its mate with red chrysanthemum, character script to the reverse, and further embellished with stylised flora, bats and daoist symbols upon an ox blood ground, six-character mark underside, height 16.5 cm, diameter 13 cm
