A Chinese porcelain blue and white decorated ruyi sceptre, plain form, the dome pierced head with scrolls, salamanders and a bat framing the central circular coin type panel, the shaft entirely decorated front and reverse. Fine character marks in underglaze to one end. Length 41 cm.
